Amy lost her engagement ring and her wedding ring during an operation on Thursday. She had them tied to her scrub pants. Like I told Karl, it's like someone died. She's been crying a lot.
We talked to security at the hospital, put up signs, and searched the OR, recovery suite, and all of the hallways she passed through the night of the loss. The place was pretty clean save a bit of dust and a syringe hidden beneath a storage area.
Insurance should cover it, but Amy and I really miss the real rings.
