Post-op Day 12

I have a seroma. It basically means that blood and lymph are collecting in my belly button. I now have a belly button of a pregnant woman, or bigger. It's kind of funny, but there's a higher risk for a belly button wound infection. Amy won't drain it. She tells me I better not even try to do it myself.

"You'll hit bowel," she says.

"No I won't," I tell her. "How the hell will I hit bowel?

It's not like you can put a small needle into your fat belly button and then all of the sudden put it deep enough to hit your internal poop chute.
