I was in the shower one day at my old apartment on Guerrero and I looked down at my belly button. There was a bulbus bleb of soft something oozing out into a sac of skin. I thought That's odd. Why is my belly button getting fatter?
So, a few months pass and I'm having surgery tomorrow morning. I have a umbilical hernia. The surgeon says I was born with this defect in my abdominal wall and my intestines waited thirty years to pop out into my belly button.
It's stupid and gross, especially 'cause I'm hairy and fuzz collects under the protection of the bleb in quantities five times of what it used to.
