For weeks after seeing the show, Here Lies Jenny , starring Bebe Neuwirth from T.V.'s Cheers, the song "Surabaya Johnny" has been haunting my unconscious memory.
Surabaya reached 92 degrees today, according to weather section in The Chronicle.
Google says it's in Asia -- Java, Indonesia to be exact.
And, all this time, I thought Surabaya meant "goodbye".
